Keeping this one short and sweet, as I’m out of town visiting with friends for the Thanksgiving Day weekend.
As I mentioned last year, part of thanksgiving is taking the active step of thanking the people around you for the things they do for you on a daily basis. That could be a manager or coworker helping you with an assignment, a family member for doing you a favor, or a grocery clerk or service industry host(ess) for assisting you. These little bits of politeness are part of the social graces that keep our relationships with acquaintances and strangers flowing smoothly. So as you go through this week and any day after that, take the time to express thanks face to face or even via email. It’s a little thing, but a lot of little things can add up to bigger things later.
And on that note, Dear Readers, I thank you for reading this blog. Enjoy your weekend.
